Anthony Edwards and adidas Basketball launched his first signature shoe, the AE 1, an homage to his hometown in Atlanta with a day of media and intimate celebrations with his friends and family. By creating authentic connections with his community - the people and places he loves - we were able to bring the AE 1 to life with a launch event honoring Ant himself. The event included official proclamations from City, County and State Government as well as a performance from his brother, BDifferent, and Lil Baby, another neighborhood celebrity. A custom mural honoring Ant, created by muralist Jeks, as well as a local park beautification project leaves a lasting legacy in the neighborhood that he grew up in.
